Orlos (Orlistat) 60mg — Weight Loss Capsules pricing
Transparent and competitive pricing plans designed to help you manage your weight loss journey effectively.
What is Orlos, and is it the same as Alli?
Orlos (orlistat 60mg) is manufactured by Ethical Naturals Ltd and is approved by the MHRA for OTC use in adults with a BMI of 28 or above. It contains the same active ingredient — orlistat — at the same dose as Alli (manufactured by Haleon).
Both Orlos and Alli contain orlistat 60mg — the same active ingredient, at the same dose, approved by the same regulator. That means the same clinically proven fat-blocking mechanism, the same dosing routine, and the same expected results. Choosing Orlos means getting everything the science backs, made by a trusted pharmaceutical manufacturer.
Where Orlos stands out is value. Orlos is typically available at a lower price than Alli, making it a smart choice for anyone who wants effective, MHRA-approved orlistat without the brand markup. Same medicine, more of your money back in your pocket — and with Bliss clinician support included with every order, you're not compromising on care either.

How much weight could you lose?
Clinical trials for prescription weight loss medication show significant, sustained results for eligible adults. On average, patients in published studies lost between 14% and 21% of their body weight over 12 to 18 months — that's the equivalent of 12–18kg for someone who weighs 85kg.
Your individual results will depend on your starting weight, the treatment your clinician recommends, and how closely you follow your programme. Use the calculator below to see an estimate based on your details.

Frequently asked questions
Is Orlos the same as Alli?
Yes, clinically. Both Orlos and Alli contain orlistat 60mg, are MHRA-approved for OTC use, and work via the same mechanism. The difference is manufacturer (Ethical Naturals vs Haleon) and price. Orlos is typically cheaper than Alli at the same dose, making it an equivalent but more affordable option.
Why is Orlos cheaper than Alli?
Orlos contains the same MHRA-approved orlistat 60mg as Alli, made to the same rigorous pharmaceutical standards — just by a different manufacturer. The more accessible price point simply reflects lower marketing costs, not any compromise on quality or clinical effect.
Does Orlos work?
Yes — Orlos contains orlistat 60mg, which has a substantial evidence base behind it. Clinical trials show that approximately 46.7% of people taking orlistat 60mg alongside a low-fat, calorie-controlled diet achieve at least 5% body weight loss within six months. Orlos works best when combined with a consistent low-fat diet and regular physical activity.
Can I buy Orlos without a prescription?
Yes. Orlos (orlistat 60mg) is available over the counter for adults with a BMI of 28 or above. At Bliss, a GPhC-registered clinician will carry out an eligibility check to confirm Orlos is appropriate before your order is processed.
Should I take Orlos or Xenical?
This depends on your BMI and weight loss goals. If your BMI is between 28 and 29, Orlos is an accessible, OTC-appropriate option. If your BMI is 30 or above and you want the stronger prescription dose, Xenical (orlistat 120mg) may be more appropriate and can be prescribed through our online consultation service. Our clinicians can help you make this assessment.
How should I take Orlos?
Take one Orlos 60mg capsule with each main meal that contains fat — up to three capsules per day. If you skip a meal, or the meal contains no fat, skip that dose. Do not take more than three capsules in 24 hours. Take a fat-soluble vitamin supplement (A, D, E, K) at bedtime to compensate for any nutritional impact of reduced fat absorption.

Your first prescription is dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy and delivered directly to your door.
Healthy, sustainable weight loss
Your treatment dose increases gradually — this is intentional. It gives your body time to adjust and helps minimise side effects. Most Bliss members begin to see consistent, measurable weight loss within 4–8 weeks. Your Bliss dietitian keeps your nutrition on track throughout, ensuring your weight loss is fat loss — not muscle.
Long-term results
For eligible members, the goal is sustained, clinically meaningful weight loss — typically 10–20% of body weight over 12 months. Unlike fad diets, a medically supervised weight loss programme is designed to produce results that last. Ongoing Bliss support ensures your progress is maintained, not reversed.
